Specification:

All Powerlite trout rods are finished in a deep burgundy matt, with burgundy whippings and gold trimmings. All whippings are varnished and contrast well with the matt finish. Hard chrome tip rings, single leg snakes and a lined double leg butt ring. Shaped cork handle and salt water resistant black anodised screw winch fitting woven carbon reel seat.

All rods over 9’6” have a extension butt.

Powerlite 7' # 3 - 5
a very light little trout rod. Delicate and very responsive.

Powerlite 7' 6 # 3 - 5
in keeping with the 7' but with that little extra length that some might prefer.

Powerlite 7' 6 # 3 - 5 (Three Section)
almost impossible to find these days - a little 7' trout rod that you can travel with, anywhere! A little gem of a rod. Still has the light, responsive action.

Powerlite 8' # 5
a two-piece rod designed for river and stream fishing. Extremely light in the hand. Fishes best with DT5 line, but also takes DT4 and 6 lines. Excellent for side and roll casting.

Powerlite 8' # 4 - 6 (Four section)
this has the lovely, light easy through action of the smaller 7' model, but comes conveniently in four sections for ease of traveling.

Powerlite 8' 6 # 6
supreme all round two piece river rod. Very light and sensitive for a wide variety of fishing and casting techniques. Fishes best with a DT6 line. Also takes a DT5 and WF7 lines.

Powerlite Combi 7' - 9' # 5
this rod has been designed specifically for river trout fishing. Use the 9' on normal, middle to large rivers change it to 7'for fish mg higher up river. The Combi fishes #5DT like a dream. This rod has been tested by Robert Gibson-Bevan on the St Eau Chalk Stream river in Lincolnshire. Robert's verdict 'thumbs up'.

a very light action rod with a very light line rating, as favoured by many Europeans and now increasingly popular at home too.

Powerlite 9' # 6
accuracy and distance no effort at all with this rod. Middle to tip action and very positive. Fishes best with DT lines, but is also excellent with WF7 and WF8 lines.

Powerlite 9' # 7
for those who traditionally like their trout rods at 9' in length, this is the answer to their dreams. Such a light, responsive little rod, you will feel every 'twitch' throughout it's entire length. A very popular model.

Powerlite 9' # 7 (Four Section)
comes in 4 sections for ease of traveling. Is fractionally stiffer in the butt due to the increased sections, but this is negligible when used throughout the day.

Powerlite 9' 3 # 7
this is THE rod for small stillwaters. Accuracy and distance no effort at all with this rod. Middle to tip action and very positive. Fishes best with DT lines, but is also excellent with WF7 and WF8 lines.

Powerlite 9' 6 # 8
longer version of the 9 '3,, #7 model. Excellent rod to reach the distant fish on small stillwaters. Designed for DT floating 7 and 8 lines, and 6, 7 and 8 shooting heads.

Powerlite 9' 6 # 9
This is the rod for the shooting head specialist on large stillwaters. Takes 8 and 9 DT lines and 9 and 10 shooting heads. The rod has a very positive tip action and casts incredible distances with controlled tight line loops.

Powerlite 10' # 5
a super trout rod, ideal for the boat or bank. Casting a very light line for a 10' rod, but the delicate responsiveness makes you feel like part of the rod.

same light action as the Powerlite Trout 10' #5 with the ability to cast a #6 line.

a very popular model with a universal line rating that suits most trout fishermen. A good length for a trout rod with an easy responsive action throughout.
